Just as access codes make it easy to enter conferences over the phone, they can now be used to join meetings online as well. To join someone else’s conference online using the access code, simply go to www.freeconference.com using the Google Chrome browser. Once on the main page of the website, you’ll select the button that says Join a meeting. From there, enter the access code of the conference you’d like to enter in the field provided and then hit Join Meeting to enter the conference via web.
Join another online meeting from your conference dashboard
If you’re a FreeConference.com account holder, you can join another conference through your own dashboard by simply entering that conference’s access code. This allows you to join a different conference online without having to log out of your account.
You can still access a meeting by using a unique URL
An online conference call can also be initiated by pasting a unique conference URL into your web browser. This same link can be used by all your participants. It will look like this, with your designated access code at the end:
https://hello.freeconference.com/conf/call/(Your access code without brackets)
This link can be found at the top of your account homepage. Simply click on the 'Copy' button to add this information to your clipboard. You can then paste this into an email, chat or text message to send to participants.
Your unique URL is also found on all meeting invitations
Clicking on the Join Conference link from within an email invitation will also paste the host's unique URL into your browser.
Choose how to connect when entering an online meeting room
When joining an online meeting, you now have the option of clicking View only to enter the room without audio, which can come in handy for presentations.
